SEE & DO

Nardò

Nardò is a lively city in every season, located on the Salento peninsula, the heel of the italian boot. Off the beaten tourist tracks, Nardò has remained true to itself, which can be observed particularly well in Piazza Salandra when the residents of Nardò populate the baroque piazza in the evening.

In the immediate vicinity of Nardó are Lecce, Otrano, Gallipoli, and the nature reserve Porto Selvaggio. The Ionian Sea, 6 km away, is easy to reach by car, Vespa or bicycle. The Salento region offers a wide range of activities, such as swimming, sailing, golf, hiking, cycling, as well as diverse cultural treasures and a rich culinary offer, a large variety of wines and old olive groves.
